Nuts editor Hilton to leave after three years at the helm
LONDON - Phil Hilton, the launch editor of IPC Media's weekly lads magazine Nuts, is to leave the title in January after three years.
IPC confirmed that Hilton is to take a break from editing after overseeing nearly 150 issues of the title.
In July, Nuts, part of IPC's Ignite! division, appointed Hans Seeburg as deputy editor, following the departure of Derek Harbinson to Dennis Publishing's rival title, Maxim.

Eric Fuller, managing director of IPC Ignite!, said: "Phil has been a great editor for Nuts, and helped us create an incredibly successful brand, so naturally I'm sorry to see him go."
Fuller added that he would be leading the search for Hilton's successor over the next few months.
Hilton, a former recipient of the Launch of the Year Award at the British Society of Magazine Editors Awards, has helped Nuts become a bestselling weekly title after it launched in January 2004.
He said: "I've had smart, supportive managers and entertaining, creative colleagues throughout my three years. After almost 150 issues, I'm in the very happy position of being able to move on while everything's going well."
Hilton has not yet disclosed his future career prospects.
In the latest ABC figures, Nuts maintained its 1,301,000 readership, comfortably ahead of Emap's rival title Zoo, which fell 11% to 898,000.
