Telegraph clinches Tetley's rugby deal

The Daily Telegraph has signed a deal with Tetley's to feature exclusive interviews with six rugby union players sponsored by the brewer.

The featured players will include the former England captain Martin
Johnson as well as England internationals Jason Leonard and Steve
Thompson, throughout the autumn international series.

The partnership means that The Daily Telegraph will have exclusive

pre-match rights to the rugby players and to their views on and their
insights into the upcoming games.

Beginning on Saturday (4 November), The Daily Telegraph will be
producing a series of four-page, pull-out rugby supplements.

These supplements will include recollections and reminiscences from
retired players and a player's diary.

Users of telegraph.co.uk can access Telegraph Tetley's Team Talk
podcasts and a dedicated microsite. This will feature Mick Cleary
reporting on the games in his blog and a Tetley's Team travel section
with the address details of all major grounds.
