Rowley appointed digital director for 'thisis' site
Associated Northcliffe Digital has appointed Mike Rowley as its first digital director for the This is London website and the "thisis" network, moving from his job as classified and digital director at the Evening Standard.
The "thisis" network comprises 30 sites, which provide regional news and
information for different cities and areas of the UK.
Crowley said he would be "working with the Northcliffe newspaper groups

He added that the group is setting up a buying point for clients to
advertise nationally across the regional network.
Rowley will report to Mark Milner, managing director of AN Digital
Integrated Media, the division that holds the newspaper sites. He will
also work with Robert Hardie, who is managing director of editorial for
the "thisis" network.
Milner said: "Since we created AN Digital Integrated Media earlier this
year we've expanded rapidly.
"We've achieved significant growth on thisislondon.co.uk and we are now
at a point on the 'thisis' network where we have first-class digital
management working with exceptional teams."
AN Digital incorporates the digital assets of Associated Newspapers and
Northcliffe Newspapers, which are owned by the Daily Mail and General
Trust.
The company formed in May this year as a result of the merger of
Associated New Ventures, Associated New Media and Northcliffe Electronic
Publishing.
