LONDON - 'I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!' fans will be able to keep up with the Bushtucker Trials and latest news from the show through an interactive service called 'Bruce'.

Created by Yomego, the entertainment division of DA Group, the service will allow fans to receive programme alerts, be the first to receive online updates on the celebrities' activities and participate in text-to-win competitions via their PCs or mobile phones. Viewers wishing to use their mobile phones should text Celeb to 83339.

The site is presented by a suitably styled Aussie adventurer called Bruce.

Mike Antliff, CEO of Yomego, said: "The package of services presented by Bruce for 'I'm a Celebrity' begins to show the full potential for Yomego's entertainment platform for promotional activity, which seamlessly links TV broadcast with digital and online media.

"Bruce fits with the whole tone and humour of the show and works hard to deliver different ways for the viewer to engage with the programme."

Melissa Goodwin, head of mobile for ITV, said: "With 'I'm a Celebrity' fever set to sweep the nation again, Bruce from Yomego is the best way for viewers to keep up with all the banter from the bush anytime and anywhere."

This year, the 'I'm a Celebrity' line up includes former Busted star Matt Willis, who has already been tipped to win by bookies Paddy Power.

Joining Willis on the female front will be former Hearsay singer Myleene Klass, 'Footballers' Wives' actress Phina Oruche, former newsreader Jan Leeming and Cherie Blair's sister Lauren Booth.

Male contestants include former 'Neighbours' actor Jason Donovan, TV host and Heart FM DJ Toby Anstis, fashion designer Scott Henshall and Liza Minelli's ex-husband David Gest, who has told producers he will only eat off fine bone china.
