LONDON - IPC SouthBank women's glossy In Style has named Marie Claire features director Charlotte Moore as its new deputy editor.

Moore, who has previously worked for Sunday Express Magazine as editor at large, and written for Elle, Time Out and Red, will join In Style at the start of December.

She replaces Tammy Perry, who has left to write her second book. Moore is the first of editor Trish Halpin's appointments since she joined In Style in September.

Moore said: "[In Style] is a magazine I've always respected and one I look forward to reading each month. I can't wait to be part of the team."

Halpin was previously editor of Hachette Filipacchi UK's Red, and succeeds Louise Chunn, who left to edit NatMag's Good Housekeeping.

In Style rose by 0.1% in the latest ABC figures to 197,031.
