Eleven agencies make shortlists for BT business
BT has finalised the shortlist for its pounds 160m advertising account and for the first time will be focusing on youth as a separate sector.

account and for the first time will be focusing on youth as a separate
sector.
The youth shortlist includes: Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO, St Luke’s,

Duckworth Finn Grubb Waters, HHCL & Partners and Wieden & Kennedy.
Agencies pitching for the consumer account include AMV, M&C Saatchi, Leo
Burnett and Lowe Howard-Spink. The business pitch list includes M&C
Saatchi, Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe, Partners BDDH and Ammirati Puris
Lintas.
Cellnet, which is 60% owned by BT, was the first telecoms company to
create a brand aimed at 16- to 24-year-olds, with the launch of its U
pre-pay mobile phone.
Agencies will be briefed at the end of the week, with a pitch scheduled
for February.
