FUNDRAISING NEWS: War Child teams up with NME for album

War Child is to release a charity album in the autumn to raise funds for its international development work.
The album, entitled 1 Love, will showcase cover versions of number one hits and will feature popular acts such as Oasis, Stereophonics and the Manic Street Preachers.
It will be released in October to coincide with music magazine NME's 50th birthday and the anniversary of the first singles chart which was launched in 1952.
War Child is NME's official charity and has previously worked with the music magazine on various fundraising projects.
