Planning awards deadline looms

Media planners have until the end of the month to enter Media Week's awards recognising planning excellence in the outdoor and magazine sectors.

The deadline for submissions for the Clear Channel Outdoor Planning
Awards and the IPC Magazine Planning Awards is 31 January, with winners
to be announced at separate events in March.

Categories in the Clear Channel Outdoor Planning Awards include: best

use of outdoor in a multimedia campaign; best use of multiple formats in

outdoor; best use of continuity in outdoor and best use of innovation in
the sector.

The IPC Magazine Planning Awards will reward winners in five categories:
best magazine campaign under £250,000; best magazine campaign over
£250,000; best innovation in a magazine campaign; best use of
magazines in a multimedia campaign; and best use of consumer insight in
a magazine campaign.

Prizes for the outdoor awards include cash and a trip to New York, plus
£30,000 in outdoor space for the winning client, while entrants in
the magazine awards will vie for cash and a trip to an NME concert at a
European venue.
