Software Bureau embeds Mortascreen in Cygnus ES

LONDON - The Software Bureau has launched an enhanced version of its data software Cygnus, which includes an embedded Mortascreen file, marking the first time the file has been incorporated into data management software.

The version, Cygnus ES, also includes two more suppression files: the industry standard Mailing Preference Service; and Equifax's Disconnect. Cygnus ES users can also buy in additional suppression files.

David Murray, sales director at The Software Bureau, said: "The point of every product we develop is that it empowers companies to move forward from the traditional view that data is a complex phenomena that is best outsourced or managed by someone else.

"Embedding these suppression files within Cygnus takes this a step further -- enabling comprehensive end-to-end processing.

"By securing the Mortascreen file and these two other crucial suppression files, we feel like we've achieved what other software companies have been talking about for some time."

The Cygnus system is used by clients including Homeserve, Direct Wines and direct marketing agency Tullo Marshall Warren.
