IPC Country & Leisure rebrands as IPC Inspire
LONDON - IPC Country & Leisure Media, the largest division within IPC, has been renamed IPC Inspire in a move the publisher says will reflect 'the role the group's magazines and websites play in their readers' lives'.
Paul Williams, managing director of IPC Inspire, said: "We had an excellent year in 2006, being at the centre of our specialist markets. With the focus in 2007 on our magazines and our digital growth, together with the impending move to our fantastic new offices, now is a great time to become IPC Inspire -- it really reflects the passion both we and our readers have for our specialist markets and the inspiration our brands deliver."

The new name coincides with the unveiling of a new corporate identity for IPC Media and each of its publishing divisions.
Sylvia Auton, IPC Media chief executive, said: "IPC has changed out of all recognition over the last five years. It is, therefore, fitting that our market-leading reputation for insight, innovation and creativity is reflected in a new corporate logo that better represents our modernity and confidence in our future."
The launch of IPC's new identity is timed to coincide with the company's move to its new home, the Blue Fin Building on the South Bank in London.
Designed by Agenda Design Associates, the new logo also includes a subtle reference to the IPC's new building with a central "blue fin' between the "IPC" graphic descriptor and the "Media" font.
There are also new logos for IPC's publishing divisions, giving a visual unity to every part of the company's branding for the first time.
