Adams Kids leaves Nectar scheme
LONDON - Childrenswear retailer Adams Kids has ended its four-year relationship with the Nectar loyalty scheme.
The decision follows a change of ownership at Adams Kids, which was taken over by John Shannon, ex-chairman of shoe retailer Stead & Simpson at the beginning of February.
The retailer will stop issuing and redeeming Nectar points on any new purchases or redemptions from March 12.

Adams and Nectar issued a joint statement confirming the decision was due to the takeover, but both refused to comment further on potential replacements for Adams in the scheme.
Since its launch in 2002, Nectar has been hit by a number of high-profile brands leaving the scheme. Last year, off-licence chain Threshers left the scheme, and in 2005 Vodafone and Barclaycard both pulled out within weeks of each other.
Current Nectar partners include Sainsburys, Debenhams and BP.
