DoubleClick buys Tangozebra agency
Online marketing company DoubleClick has acquired digital technology and rich media agency Tangozebra for £15m, from marketing services group Media Square.
DoubleClick said the acquisition will provide rich media capability, and
help with emerging technologies such as podcasting and in-game
advertising.
The two companies will merge to provide an integrated ad management

suite across all digital advertising formats. The pairing will also
offer a brand survey tool to measure campaign effectiveness.
Tangozebra was co-founded in 1996 by managing director James Booth and
James Barrs. Booth will now head DoubleClick's rich media business in
the EMEA region.
