MEN Media revamps ad sales strategy
MEN Media has changed the way it sells ad space in the country's largest free weekly, the Manchester Metro News.
It has also announced this week that it is to reduce the distribution of
the paper by around two-thirds.
Under the new sales strategy, packages have been debundled, allowing
advertisers to buy individual titles.

Prior to the change, advertisers wanting to buy all of the titles in
Manchester would have to pay £150 per single column centimetre.
Since advertisers are no longer forced to buy overlapping packages, that
price is now down to around £85.
