Volvo Ocean Race appoints Fingal for integrated task
LONDON - Volvo Ocean Race has appointed integrated marketing agency Fingal to create a digital and print campaign strategy to reflect the essence of the 2008-2009 race.
The aim of the campaign is to provide digital and print marketing materials to promote Volvo Ocean Race to potential sponsors. Fingal has created teasers, a bespoke digital presentation application, follow-up documents and a marketing handbook containing relevant information and statistics on the race.

The agency has also produced a graphic language and applied it, to bring greater consistency to the brand.
James Kendall, sponsorship and marketing manager at Volvo Ocean Race, said: "Our mission is to reflect the message of the race in the context of the radical changes we have made to it.
"We wanted a fresh perspective, which is why we asked Fingal to take up the brief. They've immediately identified the key components required to make our message stand out from the crowd."
