MPG wins £20m BBC media account
LONDON - Media Planning Group has beaten Zenith Optimedia and Mediaedge:cia to the £20 million BBC media planning and buying account.
Group strategy director Marie Oldham, who led the pitch, said it has been the most thorough and best she had ever experienced.
"Now, the first step is to immerse ourselves in what is probably the most complicated brand in the UK," she added.

The BBC has not fixed a date for a new campaign, but Oldham said she expects to meet with its creative agencies, including Rainey Kelley Campbell Roalfe/Y&R, Fallon and Red Bee Media, in the next few weeks.
