Universal McCann takes over Paddington for Telegraph promotion

LONDON - Paddington Bear is to return to his spiritual home this weekend in a campaign secured by Universal McCann and outdoor planning agency ipm for a Daily Telegraph promotion.

The children's favourite is to appear at London's Paddington station on Saturday, where his helpers will give away 12,000 miniature jars of his favoured sandwich filling, marmalade.

The activity supports The Daily Telegraph's promotion of two free CDs of Stephen Fry narrating Michael Bond's Paddington stories in its Saturday and Sunday editions.

The Daily Telegraph's Paddington promotion will continue next week, with marketing support at branches of WHSmith.
