SecsintheCity.com launches cheeky new ad campaign
LONDON - Recruitment website SecsintheCity.com, owned by Trinity Mirror, is launching an advertising campaign in Manchester, using a bold play on words.
The cheeky "Love Secs. Hate..." campaign is targeting employees who might not be happy in their current workplace. It centres around straplines such as "Love secs...Hate being taken for a ride?", "Love secs...Hate being stuck in the same position?" and "Love secs...Hate doing the same old thing?"

The promotion begins May 1 and will feature on promo bikes, trams and local radio, aiming to inject some humour into the city centre.
Steve Arnold, general manager of SecsintheCity.com, said: "Manchester is our key focus this May and we believe there is significant scope to improve the job listings and candidate numbers.
"The approach plays on our name but not on the level of professionalism and services we provide."
The company aims to capitalise on the increasing number of employers and employees using the internet for recruitment purposes. A Noras (National Online Recruitment Audience Survey) 2006 survey reported 86% of users have applied for a job they found online.
