Telegraph.co.uk launches Earth Channel
LONDON - Telegraph Media Group has launched a website called The Earth Channel, which will provide news and features on environmental issues and look at eco-friendly products for consumers.
The Daily Telegraph's environmental editor, Charles Clover, will write a weekly column, The Earthlog, alongside Neil McCormick's EcoLogical feature.

Environmental writers Fred Pearce and Mark Lynas will post blogs for the site, which is part of a wider 'greener-living' consumer-orientated initiative for the Telegraph.
Clover said: "The Earth Channel will not only debate the latest global issues, but will also offer users advice on how to be greener and more environmentally aware in their own lives.
"We aim to inform consumers as to whether the growing number of ethical or environmentally friendly products - from wind turbines to solar panels - do the job they are supposed to, and to provide feedback from readers who have actually tried and tested them."
The Telegraph has signed up B&Q, Ariel, ibuyeco and the Energy Savings Trust as the initial commercial partners for the site. Olympus is giving away six digital cameras to encourage readers to help search for compelling images of climate change.
Dave King, Telegraph Media Group, executive director, said: "Telegraph.co.uk is continually developing and expanding its multi-media offering from which new and exciting commercial opportunities are constantly arising.
"The Earth Channel offers advertisers and commercial partners a unique opportunity to promote their green credentials in association with a quality brand such as the TMG."
