The Week: Brand News - Google tops brand survey
Google has managed to hold on to its position as the country's most-loved brand, according to a survey by Marketing magazine.
The poll also revealed that Pot Noodle has remained as the UK's
most-hated brand. Amazon, which was at 117th in 2006, has exploded into
third, while the internet auction site eBay fell to fifth place from

fourth.
More traditional names such as British Airways (sixth), Coca-Cola
(seventh) and Heinz (ninth) all made the top ten. McDonald's came in as
the second most-hated behind Pot Noodle, while the football club
Manchester United was placed as the seventh most-hated brand, rising
from 12th.
