Pret A Manger to launch site for chain expansion
Pret A Manger, the privately-owned sandwich and fast food chain, has gone live with its first dedicated web site.

has gone live with its first dedicated web site.
The site will initially be used to spearhead the company’s expansion

plans, helping it recruit new staff and underline its brand values.
However, it is expected to expand with additional features in the next
month. These will include nutritional information about its food, as
well as a store locater for their nearest outlet. Pret A Manger has over
90 stores with a further 20 expected to launch this year.
Online activity was overseen by Pret A Manger marketing director Morag
McCay, and web design was handled by internet development and consulting
outfit AKQA.
The agency was originally appointed to the Pret A Manger business on a
project basis in February this year.
The web address, www.pret. com, will feature on Pret A Manger packaging
and product literature.
