Telegraph launches personalised news service
LONDON - The Telegraph Media Group has launched a new feature on its site's blogging community section, My Telegraph, that allows users to tailor the news they want to receive from specific sources.
Users can choose to receive news headlines in eight categories -- news, sport, business, opinion, arts, travel, living, and the environment -- from around 100 online news providers.
Their personalised settings will be saved under their profile for their next visit.

My Telegraph launched in May and enables users to post their own blogs, save articles to read later in the day and upload their own photographs.
The group introduced blogging to encourage users to spend more time on the site.
Shane Richmond, Telegraph.co.uk communities editor, said: "We expect our readers will become increasingly demanding in terms of getting the news they want served to them in the format of their choice.
"With 'My Telegraph', TMG is taking a huge step in the direction of personalised news content. 'My Telegraph' is where social networking and news converge."
