ITV delays push for video portal
ITV has postponed the roll-out of a multimillion-pound integrated campaign to promote the relaunch of its website as a video-on-demand portal.
The UK's biggest commercial broadcaster began overhauling itv.com
earlier this month to allow viewers to watch shows including Coronation
Street, Emmerdale and The X Factor on-demand.
ITV will now wait until the autumn to launch heavy-weight activity

encouraging viewers to access live streaming of its channels, as well as
a 30-day catch-up service and an archive comprising 20,000 hours of
programming.
ITV is rolling out the portal in stages, beginning with online
simulcasts of ITV1, ITV2 and ITV3. All areas of the portal are expected
to be available within weeks.
