LONDON - Havas Media has announced the launch of Celebrities Consulting, a specialist unit aiming to offer a higher level of access to celebrities in the world of advertising, events, licensing, goodwill and corporate branding.

Celebrities Consulting will be managed by Maxime Hibon, who will take the role of executive director at the new venture.

Hibon will manage the group's links with key players in the world of fashion, music, cinema and sports.

He started his career at Paradigm Talent Agency, moving to talent management agency William Morris and then to Wilhelmina Artist Management and the Marilyn Agency.

Since the start of 2006, he has worked as an independent consultant for communications agencies.

Alfonso Rodes, chief executive of Havas Media, said: "Celebrities Consulting allows us to exploit the wealth of synergies within both our group and the market.

"By maintaining a constant dialogue with stakeholders, opinion leaders and celebrities, we are able to streamline an often complex process and offer our clients optimum solutions for their brands. We are delighted to welcome the Celebrities Consulting teams into our group."

Hibon said: "Although this concept represents a new offering within agencies, the creation of Celebrities Consulting within our group is extremely logical. By centralising this process we can offer our clients and networks a service that is both simplified and more sympathetic to the sector."

The new division will collaborate internally within Havas Media, particularly Havas Sports and Havas Entertainment, as well as service the needs of all of the group's agencies including the Euro RSCG global network. It will also operate independently within the market as a brand.

Havas also owns fellow creative agency Arnold Worldwide and media agency Media Planning Group.

Mr. Hibon is both a maverick and pioneer in his field. He will no doubt rise to the occasion and exceed the expectations of his peers. I wish him well as he paves his way at Havas - R.
