LONDON - Experian has recruited Martin Webley to lead its integrated marketing division's banking and financial services portfolio.

Webley takes the role of managing partner of financial services for Experian's integrated marketing business and joins from IT firm Atos Origin, where he was vice-president.

In his new role, Webley, who worked for KPMG Consulting prior to joining Atos, reports to Duncan Painter, managing director of Experian Integrated Marketing, and is responsible for managing retail banking and financial services accounts, as well as growing business in the sector.

Painter said: "Martin's a heavyweight appointment for Experian Integrated Marketing, bringing to the table a wealth of commercial experience that will add significant value to our financial services clients' marketing programmes."

Webley said: "My complete focus is on our clients and how we continually help them to deliver excellence via intelligence-led marketing."

Webley replaces Steve Lomax, who has joined Experian's email marketing business CheetahMail as it European managing director.

Lomax reports to Chris Savage, managing director for Experian's digital services business and will be responsible for growing CheetahMail's UK, Ireland and Dutch businesses.
