Synovate Korea promotes Chang to MD
SEOUL - Synovate Korea has promoted global account director KyungEun Chang to managing director of the company’s Korea operation, replacing Kurt Thompson.
Thompson is moving to Cyprus to take up a role as chief operating officer for Central and Eastern Europe and the Middle East.
Chang joined Synovate in 2000, and has since help a number of roles, including heading up its healthcare division, before moving onto account management with a major telecommunications company.

Chang will oversee Synovate’s research division, and will take a hands on role in managing the company’s local and international clients, reporting to Tim Balbirnie, CEO, Synovate Asia.
