Jensen to front Gold's breakfast show
LONDON - David Jensen and Erica North are to co-host the breakfast show on GCap Media's newly formed Gold network, which comes on air this Friday at 7pm with a fresh identity.
Jensen is currently the morning DJ on the Capital Gold network, which GCap Media has merged with its recently acquired Classic Gold network to form Gold.
Last week, Tony Blackburn, the breakfast DJ on Classic Gold, said he would not present the slot on the new network but will do some shows for GCap in future.

Mike Sweeney will assume the weekday 'Drivetime' show from 4pm to 8pm on the new network, followed by Sam Hughes, who is to present late evenings from 8pm to 12am Monday to Thursday.
Saturday afternoons will be dedicated to anthemic classic rock. The 'Friday Rock Show' has been moved to Saturday lunchtime, and Nicky Horne will present rock anthems with the latest sports reports in the 'Sport Saturday Show'.
Paul Coyte is to take up the weekend breakfast show on Saturday and Sunday. Jensen will continue to present his 'Saturday Celebrity Show' with OK! Magazine from 9am to 12pm.
Gold, which will target ABC1 35- to 54-year-old listeners, aims to distinguish itself from other classic hits formats by playing the widest selection of music available on commercial radio over the last five decades.
