Wallace and Gromit embrace video on website
LONDON - Aardman Animations has partnered with online video specialist Roo to relaunch the Wallace and Gromit website with advanced video functionality and advertising opportunities.
The new website features a video player with full-screen viewing capabilities, allowing fans to watch clips from classic 'Wallace and Gromit' features such as 'The Wrong Trousers'. This is the first time video footage of the British animation series has been officially available online.

Tony Martin, senior vice-president at Roo Europe, said: "It is great to see a British filmmaker so keen to open up its content to online viewers."
The service is free to users, funded solely by advertising. Advertisers can purchase pre-roll video and banner ad formats directly from Roo Europe, allowing Aardman to focus on managing the video content.
Paul Deane, head of online at Aardman, said: "Roo's experience in selling the associated advertising lets us run our own Wallace and Gromit channel for fans to watch anytime. We're really excited about it."
