Discovery Networks International hires chief operating officer
LONDON - Discovery Networks International has appointed Sahar Elhabashi, previously MTV strategy and digital executive vice-president, as its chief operating officer.
Elhabashi has been executive vice-president of strategy and digital media at MTV Networks International since 2001.
At her new company she will oversee day-to-day operations in more than 170 countries across Europe, Asia, Latin America, the Middle East and Africa.

She will report to Greg Ricca, president and chief executive of Discovery Networks International.
Ricca said: "Sahar is a highly talented executive with extensive international experience building one of the industry's top media brands."
