Tiscali brings Setanta Sports on board internet TV

LONDON - Tiscali has confirmed it will offer three Setanta Sports subscription TV channels via its Tiscali TV internet TV service for £9.99 a month.

Tiscali TV subscribers who sign up for the service will be able to watch live Barclays Premier League, Clydesdale Bank Scottish Premier League games and live rugby and US PGA Tour golf action. There is also no annual contract for the Setanta subscription and customers can cancel with one month's notice.

The channels join 80 others on Tiscali TV, which, according to Tiscali's latest figures, had 50,000 subscribers in the first quarter of 2007.

Mary Turner, chief executive of Tiscali UK, said: "Tiscali is always looking to add exciting new TV content to our service and this is a great new option for our sports fans."

Setanta's channels are now available on IPTV services Tiscali and BT Vision, Top Up TV on Freeview, on Sky and on Virgin Media.
