Following is acquisition earlier this year of RHM, the group with £2.7bn in annual sales has decided to slim down its advertising roster.

Howard Beveridge, Premier Foods' Commercial Director, said:  "As we continue to successfully integrate RHM into our business, it is now our intention to consolidate our roster of advertising agencies. This will ensure we achieve outstanding advertising performance whilst leveraging our budgets to even greater effect."

In a short period of years Premier Foods has acquired a number of iconic British Brands including bread brand Hovis, Mr Kipling, Batchelors, Quorn, Sharwood's, Oxo, Loyd Grossman, Ambrosia, Bisto and Branston.

The pitch, which has been extended to a selection of other non-roster agencies at long list stage, will be managed in-house.
