ESPN promotes Frank to senior vice-president
LONDON - ESPN International has promoted Lynne Frank, its managing director for Europe, to the role of senior vice-president.
Frank recently oversaw ESPN's acquisition of NASN, the European channel dedicated to North American sports. She also added the cricket website cricinfo.com and the rugby portal scrum.com to ESPN's burgeoning portfolio.

Frank currently manages ESPN's European headquarters in London, and heads up channel businesses in the Middle East, Africa and Israel, while directing overall sales.
She will remain in the London office, reporting to Russell Wolff, ESPN International's managing director.
Wollff said: "Lynne's vast experience in the European television business, coupled with her strong leadership, strategic, and operational skills, allowed her to come in and make a real impact quickly.
"She has played a pivotal role in the growth of our business in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. We look forward to further growth under her leadership."
Frank has been at ESPN since 2005, prior to which she spent 12 years at Turner Broadcasting System, working her way up to managing director of the European Entertainment Networks.
