The model, who had a £250,000 contract with the retailer for its M&S Money services, has been dropped by the retailer after she was caught organising cocaine to the News of The World's undercover "fake sheikh" reporter Mazher Mahmood.
The story by Mahmood, who has caught out a string of celebrities, ran this weekend.
Marks & Spencer said it had an ongoing contract with Kidd that would not be renewed after she was recorded in conversation by Mahmood, offering to arrange a drugs deal for Mahmood, who was posing as a businessman.
The undercover reporter has previously duped former England manager Sven Goran-Eriksson and Sophie Wessex.
Kidd is reported to have arranged for three grammes of cocaine to be delivered to her brother's house in exchange for £150, which was offered by Mahmood and his entourage. Kidd said: "I'd do [cocaine]. I'm not going to do shit. It's not the best, but it's what we can do at half past 12 at night."
The retailer, which also has contracts with Myleene Klass, Erin O'Connor and Lizzie Jagger, reacted to the allegations by discontinuing all ties with Kidd.
Steve Sharp, marketing director at Marks & Spencer, said: "We do not have an ongoing contract with Jodie Kidd for M&S Money".
A source at Marks & Spencer said: "M&S doesn't do drugs. Period."
Kidd, who also has a contract with Italian sports car manufacturer Maserati, last appeared in a TV ad for M&S Money in May, promoting its car insurance.
It is the second time this year that Marks & Spencer has had to drop one of its major endorsment contracts. In April, musician Bryan Ferry was dropped following comments in the German press suggesting the Roxy Music singer had an admiration for Nazi architecture.
Kidd is the second supermodel in recent times to have fallen victim to an undercover drugs story by a UK tabloid. Kate Moss lost a string of work after she was exposed as a cocaine user.
It is currently unclear whether Maserati will continue its association with Kidd, but it is understood that representatives for the model are holding crisis talks in order to save her contract.

As a point of clarification, George Galloway was never duped by the nefarious methods Mazher Mahmood.
On the contrary, George Galloway was smart enough to smell a rat and exposed him.

Fair point, but smart? Galloway? He was the guy who appeared on Celebrity Big Brother in a catsuit? Not to mention an apologist for the "courageous, strong and indefatigable Saddam Hussein". What a stand-up guy.
Perhaps he was ill-advised to appear on Big Brother as it was a PR disaster. Endemol did go out of their way to depict him in a negative light and he was heavily censored.
His famous indefatigable quote was actually taken out of context voiciferously opposed Saddam whilst the US & UK were selling him arms and chemical weapons.
He was tireless in his campaigning against the "genocidal" sanctions throughout the 1990s.In addition,he has been an articulate and passionate opponent of an illegal war that has resulted, according to latest estimates, 1million Iraqis killed.
Anyone that saw his mesmerising tour-de-force in the US Senate last year would agree that he is indeed a "stand-up guy".
Regardless, this News of the World stunt is a disgraceful piece of mudslinging masquerading as journalism. Model does cocaine - shock horror, what next?
perhaps we should be more shocked and horrified by celebrities' behaviour then standards might not keep slipping. what was once unacceptable is now almost par for the course. few people seem to have any self respect or self discipline any more
"Model does cocaine - shock horror, what next? "
So, taking drugs is ok then William?
its not ok, but its hardly suprising is it. Fair enough she got caught and fair enough she got dropped. serves her right for a) doing it and b) just getting caught by a guy dressed as a sheikh. Does seem like the Journalist could have found something better to do with his/her position and resources but again its the screws of the world. Just look at the world right now though - doherty, moss, spears, hilton, lohan, winehouse, kidd...all roll models to some (shame) and getting caught doing illegal stuff but then snapped smiling later in their convertable mercedes after a slap on the wrist. hardly a positive for impressionable youth. once these people get caught, they should be outcasts to demonstrate what it can do to your life but no, its cool, innit.
ps - gorgeous george was amazing on big brother.
Oh those "roll" models obviously worshipers at the temple of Golden Virginia.
Who gives a flying **** if she does cocaine or not? In the 60's it was "o wow" when pop stars were caught taking dope and writing songs about tripping. In the 70's, you had heavy caners like Zeppelin, Sabbath and even the noteriety of the Pistols and that whole explosion of punk. In the 80's, it was acceptable to do things the general public couldn't afford such as coke. Now it's affordable to all and sundry. Lawsuits are ten a penny. Political correctness gone mad as the great Alan Partridge would say. I know some out there will be avidly interested in this story but really, it comes down to a skinny model snorting lines for recreation. The biggest story in this has been missed. If you are a media-savvy chick who works with false people all the time, how embarrassed would you be getting duped by a fake sheikh!
I don't think people would care too much what she chooses to do in her spare time, but as she's taking hundreds of thousands of pounds a year endorsing a family brand it seems fairly questionable behaviour to say the least. I don't recall Led Zep, Black Sabbath, the Sex Pistols ever endorsing high street retailers...
Also, money from the global cocaine trade is used to fund protection rackets, human trafficking and buy guns which are used to arm street children. So no Hannah, I don't personally think it's acceptable. Fair play to M&S for making a stand.
Not many people give a monkeys. M&S have to, being a high street chain. Jodie should have been sacked, I agree, for sheer stupidity alone! But the actual act of her doing it, taking the drug itself, well you'd have to take on the whole industry, they're all doing it. The likes of Led Zep and the Pistols may not be endorsing high st retailers but they are making a power of money from their forthcoming reunion gigs, both in November. And I can assure you, these venues will contain individuals who are taking.......drugs! So in a way, they are putting on a show that will knowingly have members of the public taking illegal substances. But of course it's not high street so that's fine.
Anyway Alex, are you the big eared boy from the farm? You see a lovely family in the field, you plough up the tree and use the leaves to make a dress for your wife, who's also your brother.
Aha!
Cashback!
I bow to the journalistic genius that is Alan Partridge.
Maybe Jodie's hoping a flagging career will be re-ignited by the scandal. Kate Moss has had more column inches, and bigger deals since being exposed than she had before. All Jodie needs to to do now is get a loser heroin addict boyfriend, and she's made!
