LONDON - Erik Lumer, the co-founder and ex-CEO of internet TV start-up Babelgum, has been appointed head of streaming technology firm RawFlow.

Lumer has taken up a post as CEO and will take charge of RawFlow’s forthcoming launch of online TV application Selfcast, which enables people to broadcast live content over the internet.

RawFlow said it is moving from being a technology provider to getting involved in running live events online from local music gigs to grass root sports. Lumer said there would be further hires to announce shortly.

RawFlow is part-funded by Balderon Capital, the venture capital firm behind ecommerce success story eBay.
