Vonage assigns acquisition work

Vonage, the US-owned internet phone company, has hired Profero Performance to handle its digital customer acquisition activity.

The agency, which is the direct-response division of digital shop
Profero, has been briefed to acquire customers through online
promotional work including search engines and affiliate networks.

It was appointed by Vonage director of marketing Vincent Potier after a

four-way pitch that included incumbent All Response Media. The
appointment is part of a wider rethink of the brand's UK strategy.

Vonage has also built brand awareness through a grass-roots sports
sponsorship programme called Team Vonage, handled by sports marketing
specialist Fast Track.
