Times goes mobile to offer readers' news and views
LONDON - Times Media has launched a new mobile service that will allow readers to access news and views from The Times, The Sunday Times and Times Online while on the move.
Launching on 22 October, Times Mobile enables consumers to use their mobile phones to access sports and business news, breaking news, entertainment reviews, plus, real time football scores.
Using technology designed by Buongiorno, the launch will be backed by a marketing campaign across Times Media as well as through search engines, advertising networks and mobile. Times Mobile will also carry display and classified advertising from companies including IBM, with links to mobile friendly websites and microsites.

Writing a letter to the Times was once the bastion of our establishment. Oh how the mobile has changed the landscape of our society.
