Sky man moves to Discovery UK

Discovery Networks UK has hired Paul Wilson to lead consumer marketing strategies across its portfolio of 10 factual and lifestyle channels.

Wilson, who will report to Rebecca Rormark, senior vice-president,
marketing, joins from Sky, where he was head of marketing and product
development for its Sky+ and Multiroom services.

In his new role Wilson will be responsible for leading a seven-strong

team and running Discovery UK's campaigns across outdoor, radio, TV,

press and online. He will also work with the Discovery sales function on
brand communication strategy.

Discovery UK recently hired Mother London to run an ad campaign for
London Ink about a tattoo parlour. It has also worked with 4Creative and
Devil Fish. Its media planning and buying is handled by Starcom.
