Digital: Little Brown to revamp website

Little Brown, the book publisher whose authors include Margaret Atwood and Sarah Waters, has hired Lateral to develop its website.

The appointment follows the acquisition of the imprint by Hachette Livre
UK, the country's biggest publishing group.

The website will be aimed at consumers, existing and prospective authors

and book trade professionals. Due to launch later this year, it will be

based on branding developed by design agency Unreal.

Content on the site will include blogs, video, interviews, book
extracts, commissioned articles and competitions.

Roger Cazalet, marketing director at Little Brown, said Lateral would
help the company 'transform from a business to a consumer website'.
