Sony hires Adconion for Crackle ads
LONDON - Sony has hired ad network Adconion Media Group to handle sales on its video entertainment site Crackle.
Adconion will sell advertising on Crackle on an exclusive basis, including standard web page inventory and video advertising, following a competitive pitch.
Sony Pictures Entertainment relaunched Crackle this summer. The site offers aspiring performers a showcase through its focus on user-generated content.

Crackle rewards users with the most popular videos with an audience of Hollywood executives and Crackle editors who review their submissions.
Adconion’s brief, covering Europe and Australia, will see it offer sponsorship of premium channels as well as video advertising and landing pages with branded skins.
