Future to launch US customer publishing arm

LONDON - Future is to open a US customer publishing unit next month, Future Plus US.

Future’s former head of customer publishing in the UK, John Gower, will lead the new company.

Gower will be responsible for building Future’s customer publishing offer in North America, where the company already has a number of publishing partnerships with clients such as Microsoft, Nvidia, AT&T and Sony.

Robert Price, Future’s UK chief executive, said Gower played a ‘pivotal role’ in building Future Plus UK and said clients on both sides of the Atlantic would benefit from Future Plus US.

Operating from the company’s San Francisco offices, Gower will report to Future’s US President, Jonathan Simpson-Bint.

Former UK sales director, Jayne Caple becomes director of Future Plus UK with immediate effect.
