DMGT set to appoint Morgan as chief executive
LONDON - The Daily Mail & General Trust is expected to name Martin Morgan, head of its information division, as chief executive, replacing Charles Sinclair who retires next year.
The appointment is expected to be confirmed when the group releases its full-year results on Wednesday.
Sinclair, who will be 60 next year, has reportedly told the Daily Mail board that he intends to retire after 19 years in the top position.

Morgan's appointment has been touted as a further indication of DMGT's emphasis on non-print operations, which now contribute to more than half of the group's profits.
DMG Information, with Morgan at its head, had the biggest operating margins out of the entire DMGT group last year, with profits totalling £68m.
