VBS makes digital, UK appointments

LONDON - MTV Networks International has beefed-up its sales house Viacom Brand Solutions International, appointing Andy Chen as vice president of digital solutions and Liz Rakowicz as head of UK sales.

Rakowicz, who joined VBS International in August as senior group account director, will be responsibile for building strategic partnerships with multi-national clients as well as business development.

Chen, formerly digital strategy director at Isobar Global Management, will be responsible for developing and implementing a digital sales strategy across Europe.

Both will report to Melisa Quinoy, executive vice president VBS International, with Chen also reporting into Nick Bampton, managing director of VBS UK.

MTV Networks International said the appointments follow the growth of its digital media portfolio around its numerous MTV and Nickelodeon brands.
