The Week: City News - Emap costs worry bidders
The sale of Emap's business-to-business division may fetch less than its £1.3 billion price tag because of unforeseen expenses, according to a report in The Sunday Telegraph.
The newspaper says bidders are concerned they may face increased costs
of up to £100 million if they take on the responsibilities of the
parent company Emap plc, as Emap recently suggested it would like them

to. The parent could be liable for unforeseen costs from the other two
divisions, consumer magazines and radio, which are also up for sale.
