LONDON - The Baby, a retailer selling everything from prams to rocking horses, has appointed Caulder Moore to overhaul its brand and redesign its website.

The appointment comes as The Baby plans to build its network of showrooms and develop its established mail order business. It presently has stores in Cheshire and Manchester.

The company was founded in 2005 by Janet Rawnsley and Liz Stephenson, who were formerly directors of children's retailer Daisy & Tom.

Rawnsley said: "Two years on from launch, we're now moving into the next exciting phase of The Baby's development where we'll be looking to achieve significant further growth with substantial investment in the online channel.

"Caulder Moore's expertise in developing the brand and our online presence will be vital in helping us stake our position as the UK's leading online premium baby goods retailer."

Other clients of Caulder Moore include Marks & Spencer, Jigsaw and Jo Malone.
