LONDON - Neville Brody's Research Studios has designed the packaging for the DVD version of DaftPunk movie 'Electroma', which will be in UK stores by the end of the month.

The DVD box is metallic and has rounded corners to symbolise the iconic helmets that play a key role in the movie.

Two androids, who have the starring role in the film, feature on the back of the cover.

The film was made mostly on location and revolves around the quest of the two androids to become human. The hour-long film features the androids driving across California in a black Ferrari coupe complete with a licence plate that reads "Human".

Although Daft Punk produced the movie, the band members do not appear in the film, as actors play the robots, and their music is not featured either.

Lionel Massias, director of Research Studios said: "This has been a fantastic project to build on as the imagery that we had to work with was so strong."

Research Studios also designed a poster and stickers, which will be supplied with the DVD.
