Nokia promotes music phones
LONDON - Nokia is launching its first advertising campaign through Wieden & Kennedy to promote its two new music phones.
The "Music Almighty" campaign, which breaks this month, features the Nokia 5310 XpressMusic and the Nokia 5610 XpressMusic handsets.
The creative executions feature the handset representing different music genres, including hip-hop and disco, and are aiming to show that music is a means of self-expression.

Will Harris, Nokia UK marketing director, said: 'The Nokia XpressMusic range is for people passionate about music. The campaign leaves you in no doubt that you're getting a music mobile and is the start of a great partnership between Nokia and Weiden & Kennedy.'
The campaign, encompassing print, outdoor, online and radio advertising, will run until the end of January.
Last month, Wieden & Kennedy partnered with Nokia to design the 2007 Regent Street Christmas lights. Nokia has sponsored the lights in advance of the opening of its flagship Regent Street store in January.
Nokia awarded its global advertising account, believed to be worth more than £100m, to Wieden & Kennedy in July following a six-month review of its agency arrangements.
