Strictly favourite turns to Matthews PR

Strictly Come Dancing celebrity contestant Alesha Dixon has hired a PR agency as she attempts to capitalise on her turn on the BBC1 show.

Liz Matthews PR is charged with developing a PR strategy to incorporate Dixon’s TV, music and acting work.

Dixon is set to launch an album in Spring next year. She is also starring in a movie alongside Andy Garcia, Alex Kingston and Brian Cox, set for release in late 2008.

Dixon, a former singer in girl band Mis-Teeq, is currently one of the favourites to win Strictly Come Dancing.

Liz Matthews PR’s existing clients include TV presenters Alex Zane, Matt Willis and Emma Griffiths.
