Emap beefs up motoring portal
LONDON - Emap has overhauled its motoring website Parkers.co.uk to widen its appeal to more car fanatics.
The site, which attracts more than one million unique users a month, has been redesigned to include a motoring shop, enabling people to research and buy products including insurance and warranties as well as car services.

The revamped site also features a car chooser tool, enabling people to input details of their lifestyle and receive recommended models.
The Parkers.co.uk redesign focused on improving the user experience and developing features that make it simpler to buy a car online, according to Emap.
Nomensa, the digital agency that specialises in user experience, played a key role in the relaunch.
The redesign follows the lunch of a mobile site in September and will be backed by a viral marketing push created by Lunar.
