LONDON - BBC Worldwide, the corporation's commercial arm, is beefing up its presence on video-sharing website YouTube, with the addition of celebrity interviews from Michael Parkinson.

BBC Worldwide's YouTube channel, which launched in March, now features a range of interviews with personalities including Ewan McGregor, Dame Judi Dench, Kevin Spacey, Gillian Anderson and Elton John.

BBC Worldwide's YouTube channel also provides users with access to hit BBC shows such as Top Gear, Doctor Who and The Catherine Tate Show.

The company monetises its presence on YouTube through advertising revenue that is split with YouTube owner Google.
