Green agencies list set for debut
The launch of an industry index to help advertisers find partners with suitable ethical credentials is set to put agencies' environmental behaviour under the spotlight.
Marketing is joining forces with the Ethical Reputation Index (ERI) to
roll out a Green Agency Index.
Although the government has produced accreditations for businesses,
until now, there has been no independent measure of agencies'

From this week a range of marketing agencies will be surveyed on their
green actions. The Green Agency Index will include sections on
environmental policy, waste and recycling, energy use and carbon
neutrality. The results will be published exclusively in Marketing in
the coming weeks.
'Clients and advertisers are seeking awareness and action among all
suppliers,' said Karen Fraser, founder of ERI.
