LONDON - Online loyalty business Ipoints.co.uk has filled two new senior posts, appointing Andy Hulse as head of online direct marketing and Bruce Kay as business development manager.

At Ipoints, Hulse will be responsible for growing the nine-strong direct marketing sales team and devising new strategic opportunities for Ipoints.

He has experience at organisations including The Economist Group and Trinity Mirror. Most recently, Hulse was corporate sales director at Interactive Prospect Targeting for more than two years.

Prior to IPT, Hulse was the founding sales director at Allegran in 2003, which ran LoopyLotto.com, LoopyLove.com and euromiles.com.

Kay will report to Hulse and play a key role in selling the Ipoints.co.uk database across the postal and email marketing sectors.

Kay has more than seven years experience in direct and email marketing with the likes of DLG, Wegner, MMS and IPT, where he was sales manager.

Robert Barker, chief operating officer of Ipoints, said: "Andy Hulse has been specifically involved in email marketing and loyalty programmes since 2001. This make him very well placed to drive it forward and help take the client base to the next level."

Hulse said: "Ipoints is a well known and established service in the UK with more than 1m online members and 2008 is the year to build on that reputation and offer our corporate customers new ways to interact with our member base and take advantage of our European offerings in France, Italy and Spain."
